Summerschool 2024
Tijdens de zomervakantie hebben we ook dit jaar een summerschool georganiseerd in onze community. Net als vorig jaar kwamen er heel veel kinderen op af. De kinderen in Shan Du en de omgeving van Jos willen heel graag leren, maar krijgen in de volle klassen vaak niet genoeg begeleiding. Of de lessen vallen uit, omdat de leraren zó slecht betaald worden dat zij andere baantjes aannemen.
​Er kwamen 165 kinderen in hun vakantie naar school om extra lessen in lezen en schrijven te krijgen. Als ze tenminste niet op het land hoefden te werken...
